Oh no, Kristin, poor you and poor Zoe! Lots of ~ma that it can be resolved without surgery.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Poor Zoe.
Ugh. In the past few hours, my ankle has gone from "somewhat achy" to "walking? Is that a thing I'm supposed to be able to do?" I don't know why. And now my other ankle is hurting a little, too.
Oh, feel better, Zoe.
Poor Zoe! Pix, give him a scritch from me. Decision~ma for you. Hopefully it's an easy one.
IOmeN, all miscelanous magazines have been properly disposed of. 2/3rd of a granny cart was full of magazines. Thank you Half Priced Books. They bout about 100 issues off me for a whopping $4. What they don't resell, they recycle. Works for me. I estimate about 25# of paper not being packed. And when you factor near $1/lb for the movers. And now I have a one free shelf too. And, I no longer have any old Playboys sitting on a shelf. Never read them again, why keep them, right?
OK, I need to jump on the paper sorting/filing/trashing task.

Clearly not for the articles.
Ahhh, vicodin. Magical stuff.
I'm trying to figure out if I can get to the vegan soul food restaurant when I go get my ankle brace fitted next week. It's about five blocks away from the hospital where I'm getting the brace made, but I don't think I can walk that far. My experience has been that cabs are pretty difficult to get around there, and calling a cab and waiting half an hour for it just to have it drive me five blocks seems kind of silly.
I really have better things to think about than what I'm going to have for lunch next week.
Clearly not for the articles.Actually, with Playboy, the articles were the best part. The women were less likely to be what I find super attractive. And it doesn't take long to realize the "turn on/off's were all but identical month in/out. But I got a lot of gift ideas from the book & cd section, and drooling in the gadget section. But the fashion section meant nothing to me. So now I have Wired. Granted, no nakie ladies, but much more on target for me. And for the nakie women, there is always the internet, right?

teeeeeheeeeeheeeee....!
In less good news, I just took Zoe to the vet because she was limping. She's torn her back leg ligament. If we choose surgery, it would be thousands of dollars.
It's the ligament? Lucy tore both her hind (dog equivalent of) ACLs - which was both how we found the cancer and what made it almost impossible to treat. The non-surgical cure for her (not possible in her sitch) was something like six months crated. I can't even imagine. I know you've been through plenty of vet stuff before, but if you want some insight/understanding ears to vent to, please don't hesitate to call me.

Are you coming here?
