I can't get to sleep. I sleep most of the day today, which just screwed up my schedule. I've got a phone interview tomorrow, but it's not until the afternoon. (It's also not a job I particularly want, but I'll take it if they offer it an it's the only offer I get.)

Also. Getting early "just wanted to make sure you're still alive, even though we'll see each other tonight now we're living under the same roof, because I didn't see you for more than 10 minutes last night for going to bed early" mom phone-calls, is no fun.

I also like painting...just not ten hours of it. And still not being anywhere near done. Goddamn. Am exhausted, covered in paint, and my hands are aching and the skin on them hurts. Ow. But I need to do this again tomorrow, because I don't think I'll have time Tuesday, and that way if I don't finish tomorrow, I can finish Wednesday. Which is SO not what I wanted to do...I really wanted to spend this week unpacking and making my new place nice, and figuring out where shit was, so that when NEXT week and the week after I'm traveling all over, I could do that without going crazy. But nooooo....

Meara, wish I could be there to help paint. Not that I'm great at it, but hey, helping hands and all.

Hil, knock 'em dead with the interview. Any port in a storm is a good port, once you have a job, it's a lot easier to apply for other ones. Less stressful.

Oh thank God and all her angels. I've been waiting for a cup of tea for half an hour because we ran out of milk. The PCA has just arrived with more milk and made me some tea. I can't cope for that long in the morning without it.

Today is the day I tackle all the misc papers floating around the apartment. Unsorted paid bills, mail too lazy to toss, etc. And old magazines (sadly, too many of them unread) are going to Half Price Books for a minor cash return. That is the goal. Wish me luck! Let's hope there aren't too many distractions that bog me down.
