Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That's haunting, Connie.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Connie, how awful.

Wow, leave the board for a day and look what happens. I'm so sorry for all of you. How sad and tragic and maddening to be faced with such loss.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Hey Pix, Bring us some good news, ok? Have a great interview/guest teacher tomorrow!

I am still painting....just the primer. I haven't even made it to the actual paint. Sigh.

meara, how much is left for priming?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

{{{Vortex}}}, and {{{Ginger}}}, and {{{Connie}}}.

I'm so sorry for you losses. And Connie, I'd be partly raged at this point.

Aims - sorry for not saying anything last night, but I was dead tired to even being to understand the story with your uncle. Not that I'm much more awake now, but I still can't make sense out of it. And for once, I'd wish they bring back the good old stoning. I'm sorry you have to go through this.

meara - Apr 25, 2010 7:52:30 pm PDT #17172 of 30000

I just finished all the edging in the bedroom, but the walls there really need a third coat. And the edges will need redoing. I want to finish all the priming before I go home tonight. I also fear that in the light of day, more things will seem to need more coats of primer. And several people are all "oh, um, I can help later this week?" but...I don't want to count on that at all. Since clearly it didn't work today. And at least one offer is all "after (other activity that goes til 8pm) on Tuesday...which is the day I have to fly somewhere for work. Sigh.

Who else did I miss? Why is such asshattery abounding in the universe??

Hey Pix, Bring us some good news, ok? Have a great interview/guest teacher tomorrow!

Thanks! I just finished prepping for the lesson and printing out handouts. I'm a little nervous and a little excited. Think happy thoughts between 10-3 board time tomorrow!

The front room should be fine -- it was still light when the last coats went on it. Office might need another coat, but knock wood that it doesn't.
