Yikes Zen, feeling any better?
PS- also, my mom just got laid off today. almost 65 years old and she has to go find a new job. Sigh.Nora! That is crazy timing. Bad boss, no turkey. The day before Thanksgiving? I recall my Grandfather getting fired for no cause months before retirement. This was 30ish years ago, when retirement meant pension. Apparently that was how the company dealt with not wanting to pay out pensions. Much job~ma for your mom.
But we would miss you, omnis!Ditto! But it's not a thing yet. It's only a possibility. I'm still here.
I'm sitting in tech rehearsals until 10:30 tonight.I had to sit in tech rehearsal until 11! Plus meeting! Humbug!
Wow am I over this show.Get in line. I've felt that way for 12 years.
You people are killing me with the food talk. I'm sitting here with yogurt and ginger ale. I need a wife.:: sits on group W bench with Zen :: Although, I have potato chips and not yogurt, but I do have ginger ale. ---
And since it is Thanksgiving now in my time zone, I would like to say what I am thankful for. I am thankful for all those things I take for granted, which include, but are not limited to:
- The blessings of Liberty, to live in a society where I am free to move about as I wish, to bitch about the government without fear of retribution, and to vote freely;
- my health. Thankfully, it is mostly good. Sure it's not perfect, but as long as I avoid the doctor, I will never know what is wrong, and therefore am that much healthier
- my friends, who watch my back as I watch theirs. Who bust my chops as I bust theirs. And who are there for me, as I am for them.
