Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I don't really have any ideas about iron. I haven't eaten meat since 1994, and my iron levels are consistently on the high end of normal, sometimes veering into too high. I even take iron-free vitamins.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Actually, I don't think calcium significantly inhibits the absorption of heme iron. You can haz cheesburger.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

And the dairy's only a problem if your iron is low and you want to give blood.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

but ice cream is ok, right? Milkshakes? Please! Don't take away Burger & Shake combo!! It's unAmerican! Wait! So would the cheese on a Cheeseburger be a problem too? OMG! We really should eat kosher!

Jews. They've been on it since ions ago.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Jews.

I misread that as "Jaws". I think I need a nap.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

{{{Shir}}}

I have iron problems. I take my iron supplements with vitamin B and C. My doctor swears it can help. No idea if it's true or not. (It turns my pee fascinating colours, too.)

We are about to put in an offer on THE HOUSE (well - tomorrow - we want to sleep on it, to be sure). I'm so excited. I'm also so exhausted, I can't move from bed, after seeing five houses and climbing three sets of stairs today (and then I realised it was well past time to stop climbing stairs). My father, truly the loveliest dad on the planet, drove up from the south coast and gave us excellent advice on the house we want, as well as on the other four we were seeing. Adorable.

Movers are still here. I guess this move will be a while. Seems like it's taking forever. Not to say they're slow or anything, just....sigh. Guess I have way too much stuff (and I'm moving into a bigger house!?!?)

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So would the cheese on a Cheeseburger be a problem too? OMG! We really should eat kosher!

Avocado on burgers is my new One True Love. Of course, it helps that I live in NorCal, where we can get things like perfectly ripe avocados without too much effort.

“Not dead yet!”

Relax, meara. It'll all be over soon and then you'll be in FABULOUS! NEW! HOUSE!
