Inara: Who's winning? Simon: I can't tell. They don't seem to be playing by any civilized rules that I know.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It doesn't seem to. Because of the backlog that will continue even once British airspace is open again, we're hearing of hundreds of people who could remain stranded for another week or so.

Let's hope Taiwan gets calmer in the interval or our Fay could end up stranded between a revolution and a natural disaster.

The only way her life could be more of a novel is if she had to take the Orient Express to Istanbul and then hop a tramp steamer the rest of the way Bangkok.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I was just wondering if some other turmoil was happening in Taiwan.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I know. I was all, "Wait, why does she have to go to Taiwan now? What's happening there?" Good to know it's not more strife and turmoil.

Fay did make it home in advance of the volcano stuff, right?

Thrive to spite them

Meara congrats on the house!

Also Steph is hot in her corset.

I went to my appointment to Shands today. I've been feeling bad again lately and don't feel like doing much. I'm frustrated I think by all of it. That and I was starting to feel bad 2 weeks ago with UTI symptoms and I went to my urologist and the test came back fine.

Anyway at the hospital today they dip test showed possible infection so I have to go to the urologist tomorrow about getting another test done.

Also I learned that because no scans or xrays from the cystoscopies I had done (which is evidentally SOP) I have to have the cystoscopy and retrograde thing redone at Shands. So that's next month. The urologist couldn't say anything until he had a look around to see what is going on, but he did say there may not be anything he can do.

So everything is still unknown.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

How frustrating, Askye! I hope you get some answers and some help soon.

brillig

all right, how is this fair? Today's high is 76 degrees. Thursday's high will be today's low, 46 degrees. This is why our apricot trees keep getting their little blooms frozen off! The sprinklers here at work are running!
