Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm not a morning person by nature, but Dylan woke up every day at 5:30 am until he was two years old so my sleep patterns shifted.

The status is NOT quo.

Holy crap. Within ten minutes of getting an email from the head of the new school that she would be "delighted" to consider me for the teaching position, I had a phone interview with the associate head and have been asked to come in for a full day of interviews on Monday the 26th. Meep!

Our wings are not tired.

FANTASTIC Pix! Also? Unsurprising. 'cause you're just that awesome. Drew's birthday present can be seeing you for an hour or so more a day because you won't have that hellish commute!

I like to say that I *am* a morning person - I LOVE them.

( which is why I don't want to ruin them with work!)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Kristin, that's fabulous!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Nobody here cares if I'm late. OTOH, it's rare that anyone notices either, because I get in an hour earlier than everyone else.

This is me. I love it. But, if I have to stay late, I'll stay, and if I really need to come in on weekends and holidays (it's been a few years since that last happened) I do that too. That DOES get noticed.

I had a phone interview with the associate head and have been asked to come in for a full day of interviews on Monday the 26th. Meep!

Awesome news! Good luck!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Well, my current job does not allow any flexibility (natch), but my old, corporate job did. As long as my dept. was covered 8:30-5:30, we were good. I had someone who liked to work 8-5 (or even 7:30-4:30) and I didn't go in until 9:30 (and would work till 7 or 8).

As a non-morning person, a school schedule kills me. Getting up at 5:30 and leaving home at 6:30 blows.

Go, Pix, on the interview!! So not surprised.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

yay Kristin!

happy birthday Drew

I work varied hours. My personal feeling is that as long as I am not letting anybody down --I don't stress about it. I am currently early on thursdays but other days are more flexible.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Go Kristin! That's great news!

I would be nervous about working anywhere but Microsoft at this point, because the "core hours" of 10 to 4 are a godsend to me. To say that I am am not a morning person is an understatement.
