I think the church carillon across the way is trying to play "Yankee Doodle" for its noon mini-concert. It seemed kinda flat, or something. I'm not sure if it is better or worse on "Yankee Doodle" or on classic hymms, to not have all the sharps and flats in an octave.

Application for apartment is in Fed Ex's hands now. Now comes the problem of pulling the cash out of my bank account to get the money order. Alas, my branch of Credit Union is in CA. So I can only do $300/day withdrawls. It's going to take several days to pull first and deposit out, even though it's in there.

GC can you call and talk to your pediatrician? S/he can maybe advise you on whether or not you should come in sooner, but at the very least I'd give the office a heads up that you want enough time w/ the doctor on Friday to discuss. (I guess I'm assuming Friday is a routine visit.)
The pediatricians in the office where we go are wonderful about doing phone triage, especially w/ first time parents.
