You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

However, I know that it not sweet, gentle Matt's nature, but just this once . .

This is true.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If it did all, it would suss out which region you were talking about and know the difference.

I shouldn't talk crap about it where it can hear me, but DUDE, OPERA, what's the point of me switching languages if it doesn't change what language you spell check in?

It's okay, though. I still love you more than Firefox. Who also doesn't like whisky.

One day, I'll RL run into a person who uses Opera, and then we'll get married or something.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Don't worry, Sean. The offices have a good idea of how long it will take. Believe them .

Matt will be polite. But not so sure how it will be received.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

But now I'm worried that, even with paying for expedited processing, I'll run into hassles that they would easily be able to deal with.

The only time I did the expedited process was several years ago and pre-homeland security. I walked my boss' paperwork, expired passport, and plane ticket into a main passport office (instead of a post office) and she had the thing in her hands a few days later.

Post-homeland security I've read several articles where people intentionally put off applications untill they HAD to do it expedited because the regular way's backlog was so bad.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I hope the new employers appreciate Matt and are not crazy.

brillig

The "let us file your passport for you!" companies strike me as the type of firms that prey on peoples' fear of strange things that aren't so difficult if you take a deep breath and do things step by step. Some folks see "government process", though, and panic.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I like to think that I don't have food snobbery so much as an enthusiasm for food. I'll 'fess up to a bit of snobbery when it comes to coffee because I have very strong OPINIONS on the subject, but in general it's more that I just like food. I like making it and eating it and talking about it.

I would very much enjoy being a wine snob, but I gave that one up when I realized I couldn't afford it. At least I can afford to buy the coffee I like to drink.

In their defense, filling in all the paperwork and standing in line half the day is a drag and not everybody has a secretary to send to do it.

Oh, I guess I have coffee snobbery too. If it's not Blue Mountain or Tanzanian Peaberry, I'm probably not going to drink it. Although the civet stuff was okay.

Okay, no guessing about it. It's my worst snobbery.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Oh, and beer. Which is probably the biggest of them all.
