Looks like Matt will be starting a new job soon. He gets to talk to his boss soon.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Would a high-end Irish whisky really taste that different from Scotch? I ask in all ignorance. I have really enjoyed Oban, but my assumption has been that my palate is pretty unschooled.

Hurrah!
I hope it's a "kiss my ass and hope to never see you again" kind of talk, Beth.
Yay, Matt!
Also, Opera doesn't like my spelling of it, but it can bite me.
I'm starting to get seriously concerned about your attachment to this so-called "browser". If it did half of what its fans claim, it would surely know that both "whisky" and "whiskey" are cromulent. (If it did all, it would suss out which region you were talking about and know the difference.)
Not anymore.
Yay kitteh!
My food snobberies include, but are not limited to: bourbon, scotch, cheese, bread, barbecue, charcuterie, mustard, damn I want a sandwich now.
Strangely enough, my food snobberies do not include sandwiches.
I did buy Rose's when stocking up, because I'm lazy.
Yeah, I have it in the bar, too, but if I have limes and time, I will make it fresh.
Sean, is it a renewal? My recent expediated renewal happened in a week, which was crazy. I expected it to take a month at least. I doubt you'll have any problem, though I do recommend sending it overnight and paying to have them overnight it back.
Nope, it's a new passport, so I have to go in person to start the process, so at least I'll save $15 on the overnight to send it in. But I will be spending the $15 to have them overnight it to me.
Mostly I was asking because my stepmom forwarded me some information to a passport application company here in LA, that offers to handle everything for you, at an extra fee. After talking with them on the phone, and getting nothing but dodgy, sales-person answers to my questions about why I should use them instead of dealing with the State department directly (and save some money in the process), I decided to just do it myself.
But now I'm worried that, even with paying for expedited processing, I'll run into hassles that they would easily be able to deal with.
I'm not sure I have food snobberies. Music/movie/book snobberies, sure, but I'm no gourmand.
Sometimes I have general knowledge snobbery.
I hope it's a "kiss my ass and hope to never see you again" kind of talk, Beth.
If the discussion doesn't feature the words "fuck" and "you", maybe even a mention of horse riding, I will be disappointed.
*sigh* However, I know that it not sweet, gentle Matt's nature, but just this once . . . .
