Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

'War Stories'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I'm sorry, Fay

as for Rum -- I like Whalers dark. It is inexpensive, and sweet tasing -- I am a rum sipper. Only megan has made me mix it

As far as Scotch -- that cause arguemnt in out house. I prefer my scotch smokey and peaty , matt like smooth and slightly sweet. if yo u don't have a major opinion, stick with Dasiy's suggestions.

Gin -- in general I prefer tnagurey, but I don't know a lot.

and I don't drink vodka . I like the taste of most liquors, and vodka doesn't seem to add anything to it

just to add my two cents about what should be in your liquor cabinet

I'm with you on the smokey scotches, I just can't drink the Islays for more than a glass or 2 before I feel full.

I do tend to talk people who haven't tried it to order one, and then I'll ask to "taste" it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Personally I can't believe so many of you drink rums that aren't Jamaican. But I will take note of the brands anyway.

I was looking at the Wikipedia entry for J Wray and Nephew and Captain Morgan, and I'm completely confused about Morgan's provenance. Ah, well. I'm making a BevMo run today, so I'll check the label then.

I have an uncle who used to be Captain Morgan, but then he was promoted to Asst. Chief.

Rum is far too sweet for me. I have no idea what I'd mix with it to cut that.

Because when I get one with cheap vodka I can taste the difference.

You could just run it through several coffee filters.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Connie, I was refering to ordering it at a bar. At home I usually drink wine.

I figured you were. I was amused with the image of pulling out a bunch of coffee filters at a bar and straining a drink through it.

White rum too?

Damn, I hit up BevMo and forgot to look at the rum aisle.

sj, you could always get one of those Brita portable water bottles and squirt through that. Not at all weird.
