If I remarried, I'd keep my maiden name. It was a PITA to change back to it after I got divorced. The Navy lost the paperwork twice and it took eight damn months to get it straight. I had a new SS card in just weeks, but I had to wait for the fripping Navy to get it right before I could go buy all new dungaree uniform shirts and pants to put my name on.

When I got married we both changed our names, and kept the new name after the divorce. I think about going back to my maiden name but it seems like a lot of effort.
