FWIW, that's nothing like how I see you. I think you're an exceptionally good father and husband, extremely smart and capable and somebody who managed to write a draft for his first novel while maintaining an incredibly high workload at home and in the office.
I have such a ton of respect for you, Gud, and well, you're just a really excellent human being.

Nice of y'all to say that. Well, my workload in both has gone down. Thanks, it's not so much I feel bad about myself, it's just that the bar seems really high in my extended family. Still not rational though and it's not like anyone in my family is saying anything like that at all. Sorry, I really didn't mean to troll for validation.
