Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

As usual, Vortex has it right. They'd admitted me so they could get me out of the ER and into a room while I waited - about 7 hours - for a slot in the operating room. They pumped me full of IV liquids and antibiotics (and lovely lovely morphine). They took me down for surgery about 8:30 in the evening, I came to (sort of) about 10:30 or 11:00, but was still really groggy. I woke up some time in the morning and practiced walking; the surgeon checked on me during rounds. They fed me a liquid lunch (to make sure I could tolerate food) and then tried me on something solid before they turned me loose.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I am currently writing a brief tutorial on how to update the website for the program that I used to administer. The new guy is as bad as a student. He wants me to walk him through everything. Guess what asshole, I figured it out. If you're so great, you can do it too.

Toddson, you should TOTALLY fight back, and it's entirely likely the insurance company will pay for it. Or at least most of it. Heck, the hospital should be willing to work with you to fight it.

Delurking for a moment to ask for some B.org ((( Health Ma ))) for Askye. She's dealing with some health and work issues and could use a hug.

I'd like to hear the insurance company articulate what you should have done differently. Rolled the IV home and come back in the morning?
