They'd admitted me so they could get me out of the ER and into a room while I waited - about 7 hours - for a slot in the operating room. They pumped me full of IV liquids and antibiotics (and lovely lovely morphine). They took me down for surgery about 8:30 in the evening, I came to (sort of) about 10:30 or 11:00, but was still really groggy.
I'd like to hear the insurance company articulate what you should have done differently. Rolled the IV home and come back in the morning?
askye, dearest, all the ~ma in the world to you!
Slartibartfast, make good and damn sure she gets the message if she's currently stuck away from the internets!
health~ma & work~ma Askye.
Toddson, that is made of ridiculous. I'd resubmit. And I'd copy my congressman on the letter. But that's just me.
GC, all the OB~ma in the world.
hi all!
Health and well-being to askye!
Your congressman, Keith, and Rachel.
(Well, that's what I would do.)
Tons of -ma to askye.
I ended up having a great time with my friends tonight. I'm also much drunker than I have been in a long time.
Extra folic acid together with plenty of water should ward off the worst of the hangover, sj.
Much ~ma and love to askye.
WS, I am already on prescription strength folic acid so maybe that will help.
sj, may I suggest the Formula 50 Smart Water. It's not too sweet (I believe that the sugar is what really gives the bad hangover) and it's refreshing. It also has electrolytes which helps recover.
