I could squeeze you until you popped like warm champagne, and you'd beg me to hurt you just a little bit more.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Hang in there, Daniel!

Our wings are not tired.

She prefers cancer warrior.

I hope the news is good for all of you. I like cancer warrior.

Yay for fireplace and dishwasher! Woo!

I hope things take a turn for the better, Daniel.

Daniel, clearly it wasn't Starfleet issue, so you are safe. You will be awesome, because you *are* awesome. The next 60 days will fly by without incident.

So here are some very brief pictures of the condo we're moving into. [link]
That place is awesome! I am envious. Every place I've called so far has said "filled, call us end of first week in April, and we will know May vacancies".

Uh-ha. And how, exactly, do you offer I should travel to my uni next year? I need to graduate, you know.
Hmm, well. It seems I will soon be working for a University. IJS. :: whistles innocently ::

I seriously do not get it. Funny, smart, combine the boho appeal of theater-guyness with the long-term appeal of holding down a serious job (from which another serious job wanted you enough to actively poach you), and easy on the eyes to boot.
JZ makes me blush.

ION- The apple I ate before leaving work did not last long enough for traffic home AND grocery shopping. Not sure how it happened, but a tub of Toll House cookie dough, quart of Breyers, 3 small Ben & Jerry samplers, and pita chips ended up in my basket. And now in my home. Apparently I have a sugar craving. Stress related? Maybe.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I wonder who my aunt will try to set me up with at Passover this year. Last year it was a vegetarian guy who works as a social worker, which at least seemed close to the mark. The year before that, it was the guy who checked out her groceries earlier that day -- he was short and felt self-conscious about his height, so my aunt thought it would be a good idea for him to date someone shorter than him. She got his number for me. I didn't take it.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Daniel, dear, good luck.

Clearly, you're stocking for me.

After 4 hours of sleep and only one hardly-finished-paper (out of two works I intended to give today), I still want to kill my dad. So, so much. It doesn't help that we have a concert to go to this evening (Beethoven). I hate to feel that angry at someone close, but he really crossed the line last night and hurt my studies.

Better get here quick. One of the Ben & Jerries has disappeared. No clue where it went.

Surprised they are still letting that dude perform. He's been dead for 183 years! I bet he's lip-sync'ing.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Pops popcorn.

I hope that show isn't on Fox. It'll get canceled way before it's time.

All is well that ends in pizza.

If Beethoven had a Salieri, it would be Fox.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Warning: rant ahead

ya know what's really pissing me off today? anti police rioters in our fine city. 2 days in a row. they have legitimate base concerns (info about an officer involved shooting yesterday not being released to the media in a timely manner) but their means of protesting? pushing private trash cans and dumpsters into traffic, vandalizing citizen vehicles, blocking traffic, assaulting officers, and basically forcing the majority of the city police force to come deal with their obnoxiousness. No signs, no statements, just anarchistic riots that server no purpose but to delay response on all other police issues.

All the people whose cars were stolen or vandalized today or yesterday? had to wait way longer than usual for an officer to respond. The parents who found out their children had been abused days earlier? Waiting for hours. For hours every person who called for police assistance and whose life wasn't in immediate jeapordy had to wait because a huge group of people decided that anarchy was a good plan for making their lives safer. Hey guess what? WRONG!

I'm all for freedom of speech and assmemblage and protesting, but criminy they tried to mob a defunct police station that was closed during the last budget cut. Guess what? NO COPS THERE. And they did the exact same thing yesterday. Vandalized a building that used to be a police station but is no longer. Clearly no one figured that out after day 1 of stupidity and damage to other citizen's property.

Better courses of action? Protesting in front of the police chief's office, or city hall. Writing letters of protest to local newspapers, or even *gasp* trying to boost funding for officer training and recruitment. But i guess that wouldn't be quite as "fun" as being a bunch of jerks.

Sorry, can't rant anywhere under my own name for employment reasons. *sigh* Why are anarchists such fucktards?
