not behind. On his forehead. Duh! everyone knows that.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, beth. This is so hard.
You have information. You don't have to do it all at once.
I am so sorry you have to face this right now.
If it was lower, it'd be an easy no. If it was higher, it'd be an easy yes. Could I live on it? Yes. I lived on a lot less when working at old CA job. It really hits into the "intangibles". The standard of living things.
Just putting this out there--not only did you live on a lot less before, you also had debts that you have now paid off.
true. How did I do all that? Oy.
Not to mention I already have additional work to throw your way, if only you were out here now now now.

But, y'know, no pressure.
I`m sorry beth; that`s so hard.
Thanks for the ~ma, guys, much appreciated.
omnis, don't forget to factor in that moving costs money, even if they pay for the actual movers. Also, if this is the very top of the range they can offer, what does that mean in terms of future raises and funding for the department?
I'm sorry to just jump in here but I had my first day at my new job today and it was great. I have an office, co-workers who seem decent, and a bunch of cases I'm now responsible for. It's crazy because I *know* I'm a "real" lawyer, and have been for a while, but this just feels like even more "real".
That is great to hear, Stephanie! How was the commute?
