Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Shir, I'm so sorry. We had something similar happen with Leister back in December. His was more widespread, though, when we found it, and he was having trouble breathing and was really uncomfortable, so we didn't have a lot of time to say goodbye. They do find a way deep into your heart, those dogs.
Thank you all.
We couldn't persuade him to eat anything tonight but a cold cut with his old pain-killer on, and that took some time too. I hope he's not too much in pain at the moment - it's liquid, and I'm not sure he got all of his doze.
To conclude it all, just as my dad said: "not without a fight". So not without a fight, little fellow. Not without a fight.
Oh Shir, I'm so sorry.
Keep him comfy, love him a lot. I'm so terribly sorry.
{{Shir}} so sorry.
My sis began a crusade on the first vet.
Good.
I'm looking after Ryan by myself today. (Wallybee's at work, his grandparents are taking a well-earned vacation in Cairns.) First time I've had him on my own for a full day. In fact, I think it's the first time anyone has looked after him on their own for a full day.
I think the upshot of this is, Ryan is a very fortunate little man, and Wallybee's parents are awesome.
Indeed, that is majorly awesome, bt. 10000 parents are grinding their teeth with jealousy and they don't know why.

It is true. Wallybee's parents' visa expires in about a month, though, at which point things will change. I'm worried about how he'll cope with it; I think he's going to miss them a lot. (I know we will too.)
