Mmm. I am so very glad my friend Q reminded me of my friend R's party tonight. Heheheheheh. (Earlier I was feeling sickly, and at our personal training session thinking I had nothing going on, and might make tonight a sad "stay home and be on the internet and catch up on tivo and drink tea" thing, and Q was all "Are you going to R's birthday tonight?" and I'd utterly forgotten about it)

Because lo and behold, R has an ex (from a few years ago) who emerged from the wilds of the burbs to celebrate...who's super cute...who thinks I'm super cute...who I spent most of the evening making out with. And who I'm totally going to see again. Exxxxcellent.

Ok, now I really regret not going to NOLA for my anniversary. Next year. DH suggested that we go back to St. Augustine Beach to the same hotel where we spent our honeymoon 20 years ago. So I made reservations for next weekend. The anniversary itself we will be home but there is never any shortage of things to do within walking distance on 3/17.

Fuck. It's cancer, in a tricky location to operate (so they didn't do anything, and we won't go with radiations), and in a pretty advance condition.

Remind me to kill the first vet when I'll have a chance. We could have earned at least a month and a half of treatment.
