Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Hell, the comorbidities of ADD are fascinating to me, and I'm ADD as all hell.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Hell, the comorbidities of ADD are fascinating to me, and I'm ADD as all hell.

It's kind of amusing how many people in the kinky community have ADD. (A LOT of them do.) There's a lot to be said for that type of creativity.

(There are a lot of IT people in the kinky community, too, which is a whole other issue.)

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

It's kind of amusing how many people in the kinky community have ADD.

I've noticed this (with various forms of neurodiversity) too. There's a fascinating sociological research project to be done there.

... And I can just imagine the faces of the professors reading the Ph.D. proposal for that.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

And yeah, no ADD diagnosis for him, but I often suspect that's because when he was younger they usually only pinged hyperactive kids, and hyperactive he's not.

Gah, this all is so me. Really should think about doing something about it one of these days.

This is why I was never tested for ADD as a kid, despite my mother begging for me to be. I was never hyperactive, just extremely distractable.

I ended up buying a local calendar for my friend so that she can look at New England when she is back in Old England, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and chocolates. She should be able to return the book before she leaves if she already has it.

information libertarian

Hil, just email the Reference department/main "help" email address. Those people are very public service oriented (and usually the disability coordinator for the library is in the Reference department IME.) They'll take it to whoever made the decision.

Yay! Sounds like a very nice gift to me!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I just read The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and it was awesome.

The board ate my post!

I started reading it a while ago before getting distracted by another shiny book, but I think T will like it. I took a gift receipt so she can always return it to Borders before she goes back if she doesn't want it/already has it. There is even a Borders in the mall where her party is being held.
