So Joe is going to look at some other options so that we can still move before/by June 1 but maybe not screw my uncle over totally. I don't care about screwing him over, quite frankly. He's talking about how he doesn't know where his (adult) daughters are going to spend the summer to which I replied, "I can't deal with the uncertainty of not knowing where to live. I have a 5 year old. I don't have grown daughters that live on their own. I need to provide her a stable house and this isn't it."

My officemate informed me that he has family friends who are Jewish, and going over to their house for dinner is always a "cultural experience," and the food is always delicious. If I can't find somebody else willing to drive me out to Rockville, I think I'll just stick with whatever Passover food I can get at Safeway -- I am not in the mood to be someone's cultural experience right now.
