I should not have to great news of "semi-collapsed lung" with a sigh of relief and "Is that all?" I was afraid of pneumonia, or TB, since his mom was treated for it when he was a kid and she didn't tell anyone. We only found out by going through stacks of papers and finding the letter saying "completion of treatment."
So he comes by it honestly. "Honey, should I go to the doctor for this or will a band-aid do?" "I can see the bone!" "So yes on the ER?"
And I just got up from a nap. I'm going in to work now, a bit later than usual, because of having that seminar yesterday. Nice nap. Two cats.
Good gravy. Semi-collapsed lung. Well, I'm glad it's not worse. Much ~ma for getting better, though.

I just started taking Cal/Mag and vitamin D (yes with food) before I go to bed... I slept HARD last night and am feeling strangely good today. This could be interesting.

Yes. Yes, I have. And sometimes doctors will say "I've got some students here, can I bring them in?" I'm not sure what the protocol is for charging admission.
edit: On one of his back surgeries, there were staples that some medical idiot expected me to take out. Not happening. So we went into the clinic, and none of the residents knew how to do it, so it was instant seminar.
