Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hmm, so even if I shave, I can be fuzzy. I wonder what would make me foamy. I guess foamy is in the eye of the beholder.

Yes!

google maps will give directions for riding on a bike (beta): [link] Nice addition to the public transit and walking directions.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The 19-year-old daughter of one of my best friends just announced that she's getting married Friday instead of after her fiance gets out of the Army after a tour in Afghanistan. She's a sophomore and says she's going to finish her degree online. He's already graduated and is apparently a good guy, but I am so dubious about this plan.

Our wings are not tired.

I understand your concern, Ginger. Alas, the people they are now may well be quite different after he gets back, particularly since they won't have the opportunity to live together as a married couple before he leaves. It just adds another layer of complication to what is already a tough thing to make work. Marriage is difficult under perfect conditions. That said, I doubt the couple will see it that way.

They've only known each other about a year, so they don't even have the base of longtime shared experience. I think I married too young, and I'd been out of college a year. There's nothing I can do but wish them well.

“Not dead yet!”

I'm dancing on air in the geekiest of fashions, since I just bought tickets to go see Sting in concert with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.

This would not have happened if I still lived in Jacksonville, oh no, it would not have.

Hee!

Yikes, Ginger. There are times I think I got married too young and I was almost 25. And had lived with Lewis for nearly three years.

Good thoughts headed their way, because heaven only knows they'll need them.

At the same time, there's certainly practical reasons to do it before he leaves, morbid as that is.

Ya, I was thinking the same thing. Too many hours with my sister during BIL deployment. (FTR, she was saying that she *didn't* want the payout, but wanted her husband back).
