Gavin, ask yourself this question. What are you more afraid of, a giant murderous demon or me?

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Zen, I think, as pissy as they are about your plans, it might make it worse for a new person to walk into that drama. If I were you, I'd spend the extra money for a room. If you want to save money, you could ask the new person to share with you, which would save you money, solve the new person's room issues AND get you out of the situation with the Pissy McPissersons.

Trust my rage

They have your money and now don't want you to stay with them? That is really shitty.

eta: I know you don't want to stay with *them*

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Cash, I think you're right. What I really want is to have my own room, so I'll get myself one. The books I'm about to sell will cover the money I lost. And I really shouldn't inflict those women on anyone else!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I thought you were great, not asking for the money back, but since they are not sure they can squeeze you in for one night now that they have your money, it would not be wrong to say, "Oh that's ok, since it would be such trouble for you to let me stay in a room that I have already paid for, I will do you the favor of accepting my money back, so your conscience won't be troubled."

I need to do dishes. Well, Daniel did dishes, I need to do silverware. Division of labor all the way, baby.

Our wings are not tired

Hey. Some of us haven't had a chance to watch yet!

Our wings are not tired.

Her response was that maybe they could squeeze me in.

Head exploding. First, it is outrageous that they took your money, then brought up the whole sleep on the floor thing. I'd ask for my money back. (well I probably wouldn't because I am a big ole non-confrontational wimp) But they need to be smacked.

Yes, it is the house I was looking at with the dock and stuff. Still having a hard time processing how I am going to go through all my stuff. I have accumulated so much and I really don't want to move it all blindly. This is the time to purge and simplify, but I am the only one that can make those decisions, and I don't have the hours in the day.
