You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Ah SuperShuttle. First one on, last off. Over 90 minutes.

Pizza (in the oven)

am home now. SuperShuttle dude brought my bags to the door, so that was cool. Kinda funny, the super shuttle trip was almost as long as the airplane trip.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I just put on my new computer glasses. I thought my midrange vision was getting a little fuzzy, but it must have been more than a little, because now things are very, very, maybe I should change the resolution and move the monitor clear.

All is well that ends in pizza.

What? No teleportation? Humph

Mediocre Shuttle...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I am sick of dealing with drama. I just want to get my dissertation finished and graduate and get on with my life.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

For serious, Hil. You deserve that. This has been a crazy road for you.

And, I just got involved in an EvelynEvelyn debate, which I was so trying to stay out of, but someone said something so monumentally ignorant that I just had to respond.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Oh, poor Erin's butt.

Seska, I'm glad you are getting somewhere with the Uni. May it hold.

I am a happy camper today, because I won on eBay and have received a lot of four hardcover Dorothy L. Sayers mysteries, ranging in age from sixty to seventy years old. They are not first editions, but in good, readable, not falling apart like my pb copies, condition.

The status is NOT quo.

So...anyone else ever have Ambien decide to go rogue and cause Insomnia rather than prevent it? This is the second time for me, and I could cry with frustration. It's still early, but I took the sucker at 9 and am more awake 90 minutes later than I was then. Dammit. I can't toss and turn tonight; I really need a good night's sleep so I can be less zombified tomorrow.

Oh, no Kristin. That sucks. Looking daggers at the insomnia fairy.
