Oh, poor Erin's butt.
Seska, I'm glad you are getting somewhere with the Uni. May it hold.
I am a happy camper today, because I won on eBay and have received a lot of four hardcover Dorothy L. Sayers mysteries, ranging in age from sixty to seventy years old. They are not first editions, but in good, readable, not falling apart like my pb copies, condition.
So...anyone else ever have Ambien decide to go rogue and cause Insomnia rather than prevent it? This is the second time for me, and I could cry with frustration. It's still early, but I took the sucker at 9 and am more awake 90 minutes later than I was then. Dammit. I can't toss and turn tonight; I really need a good night's sleep so I can be less zombified tomorrow.
Oh, no Kristin. That sucks. Looking daggers at the insomnia fairy.
I think the insomnia fairy switched my Ambien for caffeine pills.
Now I've hit the mildly hallucinating part of the evening, which makes reading a challenge. I'm hoping that this means sleepiness will follow shortly.
Seamus keeps getting up on the window sills above the head of the bed, perches quickly until I've forgotten he's there, and then falls off onto the bed like a bag of bricks. Scares the crap out of me every day. It is especially traumatizing given my fuzzy ambien brain.
I hope you're asleep by now, Kristin.
Hey Seamus: CUT IT OUT!
Ugh, Pix, i sure hope it start behaving properly soon! I've had to banish kitties from the bedroom for activity much like Seamus'. Not entirely surprising, i know.
Late to the party, but Hil, your advisor is a fartmonger. I like Windsparrow's ode to his glorious fartmongeriness. Gah, i would totally be leaving sticky notes far more often to remind him to check his email and respond to my messages since that is clearly the only method that actually works. Jerk.
In today's edition of Wake Up, Or At Least Don't Fall Asleep NOW, With Neither Fry Nor Laurie, I'm tickled pink by a classical guitarist: [link]
I thought my midrange vision was getting a little fuzzy, but it must have been more than a little, because now things are very, very, maybe I should change the resolution and move the monitor clear.
Excellent. Nothing like being able to see.
I hope deep sleep happened, Kristin.
Thanks all. I did fall asleep soon after, but I'm fightng the Ambian hangover this morning. Luckily I don't teach until second period, because I'm definitely not going to get there on time.
Btw Brenda, congrats on your awesome bonus! And Hil's advisor, as always , needs smiting.
