sigh ... I know it's kind of selfish, but I'm hoping I don't have to try to make a dash up there. With Thanksgiving coming, transportation would be hard, if not impossible.

Do I want to let my alumni association know what I'm doing? And, what am I doing? I think that's why I never write them back. Well, that and they're like Angel Martin..."We go back so far, Jimmy. Can you let me have fifty bucks?" And, like Rockford, I never really have it.
Last time I let my alumni association know what I was doing, they totally rewrote my update to be completely untrue when they put it in the newletter, so I'm not doing that anymore. They can look me up on Facebook if they really want to know. Which also doesn't have much information, but I might answer direct questions.
That sounds like Angel Martin, too.
