Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

Ilona Costa Bianchi ,'The Girl in Question'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh that's awesome.

It was snapped at just the right moment -- the kid is unaware, but the family off to the side sees what's coming, and the polar bear is just freaky-deaky. It makes me laugh and laugh.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Gronk. I can't even have tea this morning. Evil.

Our wings are not tired.

That is an awesome shot. Liked the font too. And Trudy, I marked that lovely post.

Mohawks are cute. I don't really find them sexy (old lady), but I find them adorable on the teens I see with them.

Also, Polar Bear! DH's season ended last night. 26-1. At this time of year the lone loss means no more. They were slightly off and the competition was fearsome. They still get their District Champs banner in a very tough area. It is really tough to watch huge athletic teens cry. My heart broke for them, but I know they will recognize what they have accomplished after the pain of last night fades.

Our wings are not tired.

Quick and painless thoughts, sj. No tea does indeed = Evil.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It's not often you capture the last moment before someone becomes a furry.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Teppy, was the kid in the picture JJ Abrahms, by any chance? Because one can certainly see how that could leave a legacy of OMGWTFPolarBear!!! for a lifetime.

(And yay for the heart healthy thing!)

Always Anti-fascist!

Yes, Tep, sorry about the pain, but good it doesn't look like heart disease. One of my neighbors has Glenn beck on with the door open...I feel abused. Even though I can't hear the words, just the distinctive thrum of his insanity. They might be deaf ,or just The Worst Neighbor In The Woorld! ETA: I had my own "Olbermann" moment this morning when I decided to change a sentence end from "...the body it's attached to," to "the body to which it's attached." I blame him for this. But now, I picture him on his way to lunch or something telling someone that, yes, Dad's still in the hospital, but did you ever feel that your day was going to turn out well for no reason?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Flight delayed an hour because NO CREW!!!

You should volunteer to fly the plane. Tell them you played a lot of Flight Simulator as a kid.
