Oh, Jessica, I feel terrible for you, E and D. Utter sympathy.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
No one has posted for awhile. I don't really know where to put this . I don't want it on my blog , where I will have to see it. and FB is too superficial.
Andy Cat is eating less and less. It started before he got the chemo drugs. I don't think he is going to be around long enough for them to work. Losing the cat that seems to have chosen me is hard. Not being sure, is harder. It was horrible losing my other boys, but at least I was sure. I just don't know what's best.
{{{beth}}} I'm sorry that Andy Cat is doing so poorly.
I can't remember the last time I was up this early on purpose, but I am working with vw today!
It's really hard, beth, when the outcome is uncertain, but signs point to an outcome that's not good. If it's time, I think he'll tell you. It's about diminishing returns, and as long as he's happy and enjoying his life, then enjoy him while he's here. (((beth and Matt and Andy)))
He does seem happy and curious and interested. Just not in food.
Thanks Beverly and sj. Going back to bed.

If you want suggestions, here are some (spoiler-fonted in case you have already tried fifteen things, and just need me to shush and leave it alone): 1) smelly is good - try tuna or other canned fish, or drizzle tuna juice over his food. Or maybe it is time to go with Fancy Feast, although it is not the highest quality nutrition, it is best of the cheap stuff, and it is very smelly. Baby foods (without onion or garlic powder added) is smelly and is sometimes tempting when proper cat food is not. 2) Nutri-cal [link] works on the same principle as nutritional shakes like Boost for humans - lots of nutrients, lots of flavor, easy to get down. You might have to put some in his mouth at first, but he may perk up and take some independently after the first taste. 3) canned pumpkin will sometimes tempt a cat when other foods are no longer appealing.
Also, sending lots of purr-vibes.
Gods, Jessica, I am so verry sorry. As Aims said, if you need *anything*, let us know.
Oh, Jessica, I'm so sorry.
All good thoughts to you, Jessica.
beth, I am sorry. These little ones, it's so hard to watch them get sicker and not know what to do.
Foster Kitty fell when trying to jump up on my bed last night, and she can't get up on roomie's bed either which is much lower. She's being fed kitten food now to try and get the max calories into her system. Plus, she's reduced her obnoxious meowing dramatically. She's going to the vet Friday, I think. We just got her and she's a PITA, but I love the little cuss.
