Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Hi! smonster told me about this, and started whispering, "post, post, post" from the other side of the cubicle wall, so I am doing her bidding.

I'm amyth, I lurked on TT for a while, de-lurked on WX, and posted regularly on the Phoenix Board. There have been many debates about the pronunciation of my name, like with amych. I stopped posting regularly a few years ago, because my time management skills stink, and I don't really lurk, because it makes me want to post. Luckily, I share a cubicle wall with smonster, so she keeps me in the loop.

smonster and I shared a house until recently, and now I live next door to Calli, because we NC-istas like to stick together. I live pretty near amych, too, so that we can confuse people further about the fact that there are two of us. (Though that's less confusing now that I'm not around.) I am also part of TEAM AIMEE/AMY, and we have a master plan. I have a poodle named Lulu who has her own master plan.

I will probably pop in on the F2F thread about twice a year, when I'm getting ready to go up to NYC, or when people start talking seriously about the F2F, because I still go to those when I can. Other than that, if I need to know, smonster tells me, and I'm still in touch with many of you on facebook.

Much love for you all!

I did not know this. Awesome!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Hello, Ice!

Oh right, introductions. Hi, I'm Jilli. I've always been Jilli VoiceOfReason on Buffistas, and I've been around since the TT days. In other places I'm also known as cupcake_goth, because I'm a gothy goth who likes pink accents with her black.

I'm a writer. I have a website (www.gothic-charm-school.com), that I've been running for a Very Long Time now, that is an advice column for Goths and other subcultures. My first book (Gothic Charm School: An Essential Guide For Goths And Those Who Love Them) was published this summer by HarperCollins, eee! I'm currently job-hunting for another technical editor/writing position to support my petticoat and boot-addicted lifestyle.

I'm married to Pete, a charmingly surly Brit who mostly posts in the Gaming thread. I usually post in Bitches, Natter, Movies, Literature, and Music. I have a fanged toy bunny named Clovis, and he is going to rule the world some day. Save yourselves and declare your minion-hood now.

Always Anti-fascist!

Cool...I heart y'all gritty East Coasters. I read a description of Debi Mazar(dude, love her! Shauna pwns.) on TWOP a while back that said "She looks like she could totally poison your cherry kool-aid and make it look like an accident." Ice, I'm going to decide you do too, until I know differently. Between Rahm Emanuel being Chief of Staff and Entourage, sometimes I think I've forgotten how to talk politely and cleanly. Which is why mom found me watching Countdown mumbling "Grassley, stop being such a douchebag." She's so proud.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

you're cracking me up, Ice.

I can't read fanfic because it gets mixed up with canon in my memory-deficient brain and then I don't remember what's true to the original story any more

this is me except i still read it. i used to have a rule that i would only read fanfic for shows/books/movies that were already over, but that flew out the window at some point.

hip deep in pie

I'm Sue. I think I de-lurked on TT, but it may have been WX. I lurked for a long time before posting. Anyway, it was in 2001.

I am a Haligonian and I live here with my 2 cats in a fairly colourful house. I hang out mostly in Natter, but also subscribe to music, tech, literary, movies and unamerican. Sometimes I deke into the show threads when something is not broadcast out of sync here.

“Not dead yet!”

Depending on how you feel about Sting and company, maybe you can get a higher class of earworm out of that.

"Rox-annnnnnne... you don't have to put on the red light."

What? We're talking about groping and nibbling and...

You are all sucking me in! Stop sucking!

'Round these parts, I believe that's a near-impossibility.

IJS...

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Hi Abby, Ice, Sue, and tiggy! (I think those are all the new-to-me people in this thread.)

(And yes, serial commas do rock. Now lets all glare at my manager and Editor in Chief until he agrees.)
