Oh right, introductions. Hi, I'm Jilli. I've always been Jilli VoiceOfReason on Buffistas, and I've been around since the TT days. In other places I'm also known as cupcake_goth, because I'm a gothy goth who likes pink accents with her black.
I'm a writer. I have a website (www.gothic-charm-school.com), that I've been running for a Very Long Time now, that is an advice column for Goths and other subcultures. My first book (Gothic Charm School: An Essential Guide For Goths And Those Who Love Them) was published this summer by HarperCollins, eee! I'm currently job-hunting for another technical editor/writing position to support my petticoat and boot-addicted lifestyle.

I can't read fanfic because it gets mixed up with canon in my memory-deficient brain and then I don't remember what's true to the original story any more
this is me except i still read it. i used to have a rule that i would only read fanfic for shows/books/movies that were already over, but that flew out the window at some point.

I am a Haligonian and I live here with my 2 cats in a fairly colourful house. I hang out mostly in Natter, but also subscribe to music, tech, literary, movies and unamerican. Sometimes I deke into the show threads when something is not broadcast out of sync here.
Depending on how you feel about Sting and company, maybe you can get a higher class of earworm out of that.
