In terms of this thread, it doesn't change every year (although it usually gets closed and reopened). Goodbye and Good Riddance gets a new thread each year. I think we were waiting for the stank of the election to subside before we did that one.

I could well be wrong, and won't search for the real answer, but I think Delurking is a yearly October event in this same thread. But I am good with people delurking whenever they want to through the year. Delurk already!

I feel like I've delurked a couple times and I may no longer be eligible. Is there an amount of lurking time that qualifies you for delurking, do people think? Not a rule, obviously, but a guideline to keep me from popping up every day with "Here again! Did you miss me?... Not yet?"
