The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hi, I'm Perkins, sometimes known as Lee. I live in the suburbs in the San Francisco Bay Area and work in Silicon Valley.

My main threads are Natter, Non-Fiction and Supernatural, though I pop up in Bitches, Movies, and Music from time to time.

You can always tell when work is slow for me because there will be a sudden spike in FCM or BINAO posts in Natter, and I like to hear about people's weekends.

Also, I invented inside pants.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

t random nattery question

Should FCM and BINAO/DINAO go into our FAQ or the like?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Should FCM and BINAO/DINAO go into our FAQ or the like?

I kinda feel like no -- they're things we do a lot, but they're out there in the world, not Buffista-specific things. (Although I note that Other People have an annoying tendency to hedge around the word "fuck". Fuckers.)

Aims, you forgot "Aimée" in your list of names.

I did forget!

Cool.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Hi, there! I'm Kathy, and I live in the Chicago 'burbs with my cat Amarna, where I work as a legal researcher and p-t at a bookstore.

I was a sometimes-watcher of Buffy and then started lurking at the Buffy thread on Salon's Table Talk, which got me to get caught up on eps the summer between season 4 and 5, when I finally delurked and became a Buffista. (People talked about you guys on other threads in a way that got me interested in reading your thread!)

Anyway, I'm usually found on Movies, Literary, Natter, Bitches when I can keep up, Non-Fiction TV, Comedy for Glee, Procedurals TV for Bones and CSI:Vegas, and occasionally Music. Oh, and Boxed Set for various SF shows.

“Not dead yet!”

Lessee... I'm Barb and I lurked here for heavensonlyknowshowlong until I finally came out of the shadows a little over a year ago. Back in the day I used to also lurk and post infrequently at the original Bronze and Beta and a couple of other boards, as Renegade.

I currently live in Jacksonville, FL where the Hub has family (I'm originally from Miami) with my son, daughter, three dogs, and a cat who thinks he's the Boss of Us All. However, in a few months, we will become residents of Seattle so YAY!

I generally hang out anywhere that catches my interest, but mostly Bitches, Natter, GWW, Literary with occasional forays into Cable Drama (loves my Mad Men), Music, Procedurals, & Boxed Set.

Abby - Oct 01, 2009 5:44:26 am PDT #36 of 3094

Hello, my board name is Abby, and I'm an actual lurker, unlike all these posts before me!

Well, I have posted occasionally, but I'm shy and don't usually have much to say. I discovered the Buffy people on Table Talk, and have been hanging around ever since. I did meet Plei and Paul a number of years ago, so there is that.

I'm 40, single, live in Vancouver, Canada, and work for the federal government. I have a cat and a roommate.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'd give you semi-lurker status, Abby! But yay for you!

I live in NYC for the next little bit, have been around Buffistas for around 10 years (which sounds crazy typed out like that), live with my cat, and mostly post in Natter and Non-Fiction TV, I guess.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Hello, all. I am a complete newcomer to posting at b.org. I used to lurk here a lot, when I was missing the Buffy-centric chat of halcyon days in other places, but this messageboard seemed very fast-paced (although awesome) and I was always too nervous to post. Recently, a friend reminded me about b.org, when I said I was missing online fandom discussion. This time, I plucked up the courage to post. I'm rather pleased I did. The people here are fab.

I live in London, UK, where I share a small, perpetually messy flat with The Girl, my extremely long-suffering partner. (I say she's the long-suffering one, but I think I put up exceptionally patiently with her mess.) We watch everything together, from Buffy back-episodes to House, but she doesn't admit to being a geek. I'm a former English teacher, now pursuing academic interests in sociology/social research (specifically, disability studies). I'm currently trying to fill that awkward post-M.A. year. Hence why I have time to post. Dissertation procrastination: it's the best.

I can mostly be found in Bitches, but I also pop into Comedy (for HIMYM), Procedurals (for House), Boxed Set, the Dollhouse thread and Natter (when the speed doesn't scare me off). And one or two others.

Should FCM and BINAO/DINAO go into our FAQ or the like?

They did have me rather confused at first. But the point about them being Out There is a good one (even if I always missed them. I always miss everything).
