Jars, it shouldn't be a problem for your DH to obtain UK citizenship and keep his U.S.

I think you need one parent to have been a Canadian citizen.
Yeah, that's what it was. Oh well. AFAIK my father wasn't, he was born in Michigan.
Oh, unless your grandfather was working for the Crown (gov't) when your dad was born.
