Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

The Toms are pirates?

Sure. Haven't you heard of the Dread Pirate Thomas? It's the hottest franchise around.

Hey. New board.

Hi. I'm Gris. I've was known as NovaChild for a long time, but then i changed it.

I joined the board about the same time as P-C, during the short-and-sweet Wonderfalls experience. I had visited the board several times before that in my searches for Buffy information, but had never gotten sucked in.

I started Buffistarating as a student in Pasadena, then graduated, moved to New York City, went to grad school, fell in love and told the Bitches all about it, fell out of love horribly, taught math for two and a half years in a small public high school in Harlem, fell in love again (still going), finished my third year teaching, and took a new math teaching job at a private Yeshiva day school. That's what I'm doing now. I also tutor 8th graders in preparation for high school admissions exams. I hate the exams, but love the tutoring.

I've been in obsessive love with Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Wonderfalls, Veronica Mars, Gossip Girl, and the Broadway musical of Spring Awakening at various times in my Buffista career. I'm currently not in obsessive love with any entertainment venture, but am thoroughly enjoying Glee.

I sometimes sing and play the piano.

Right now I follow Buffistechnology, Movies, and, now, this guy. Plus COMM, B'Cracy, and BBB++. I'm not actually good about reading Beep Me and Press for some reason - just never developed the habit. I'm working on it. I go through phases where I have the time and inclination to keep up in Bitches, and it makes me very happy whenever I'm able to do it, but I'm shockingly inconsistent about it.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Between myself, TomW, tommyrot, (Scola?), I think the Thomas contingent might also be a force to reckon with

And Tomash who we haven't seen in a long, long, time.

I procrastinated and have a three-digit user number -- to my eternal shame.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hi, Gris!

I have a 3-digit user ID, too, but it baffles me. I must have registered long long before I ever posted.

edit because user ID != username

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

Hi

I’m ehab or Elizabeth or just plain E. I live in the East Bay, CA and I’ve lurked here for 4 or 5 years I think, hmm, maybe longer. I believe it may have been during S5 of Angel though I’m not really sure anymore. I love the books, comics, movies and TV shows I’ve discovered as a result of lurking here. I get a kick out of Tommyrot’s links and am fearful of ita’s but usually click anyway.

I love the idea of this thread because I feel like posting in a regular thread I disrupt the flow of conversation, and I love the flow of conversations around here. I lurk in Natter, Technology, Boxed Set, Supernatural, Other Media, Comedy, Movies, The Minearverse, Jossverse, and the some of the other quieter show threads.

I really enjoy the diverse topics, passionate discourse, and respectful manner in which Buffistas conduct themselves. I am usually too shy to post, or reluctant to derail conversations that chug along well without my input. I dived in once, and realized, much to my chagrin, I wasn’t prepared for the attention.

These days I’m job hunting, remodeling my 1944 house, and hanging out at 33 Revolutions, my local and now beloved café.

Hi everyone!

Now tagless for your comfort.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Hi, ehab! And DavidS loves 33 Revolutions and has spent a lot of lot of time there. I've only been once myself but liked it quite a bit.

Dang, some of the other Ellens need to come in and represent. I know they're out there.
