Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Between myself, TomW, tommyrot, (Scola?), I think the Thomas contingent might also be a force to reckon with

And Tomash who we haven't seen in a long, long, time.

I procrastinated and have a three-digit user number -- to my eternal shame.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hi, Gris!

I have a 3-digit user ID, too, but it baffles me. I must have registered long long before I ever posted.

edit because user ID != username

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

Hi

I’m ehab or Elizabeth or just plain E. I live in the East Bay, CA and I’ve lurked here for 4 or 5 years I think, hmm, maybe longer. I believe it may have been during S5 of Angel though I’m not really sure anymore. I love the books, comics, movies and TV shows I’ve discovered as a result of lurking here. I get a kick out of Tommyrot’s links and am fearful of ita’s but usually click anyway.

I love the idea of this thread because I feel like posting in a regular thread I disrupt the flow of conversation, and I love the flow of conversations around here. I lurk in Natter, Technology, Boxed Set, Supernatural, Other Media, Comedy, Movies, The Minearverse, Jossverse, and the some of the other quieter show threads.

I really enjoy the diverse topics, passionate discourse, and respectful manner in which Buffistas conduct themselves. I am usually too shy to post, or reluctant to derail conversations that chug along well without my input. I dived in once, and realized, much to my chagrin, I wasn’t prepared for the attention.

These days I’m job hunting, remodeling my 1944 house, and hanging out at 33 Revolutions, my local and now beloved café.

Hi everyone!

Now tagless for your comfort.

How freaking cool is this thread? VERY. I love meeting lurkers!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Hi, ehab! And DavidS loves 33 Revolutions and has spent a lot of lot of time there. I've only been once myself but liked it quite a bit.

Dang, some of the other Ellens need to come in and represent. I know they're out there.

Hi, ehab!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

::whispers to Ehab, so as not to create too much attention::

How ya doin'?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Hi -- beth b here. No caps because i am a lazy typist. Until seconds ago I thought I was the last buffista Elizabeth in the east bay , but I guess not.

ok I work as a librarian , ( one of the chosen buffista line of work) and I was late to fandom -- BTVS was my fist. I joined TT when the second thread was in progress-- being a completest I had to read all the posts before I could join in. Natter, bitches , Literary, and random tv threads -- it depends how far behind I am .

Currently I am the person of an orange/butterscotch fluff ball disaster cat named Andy. Who is annoyed at me because I put flea stuff on him today.

I live with my DH who is a lurker, but a better buffista fit than I am when it comes to grammar.

I moved from Ct to Ca shortly after Buffy started. My sister is in the area , but not near by. I wasn't working. I think Buffy was my first anchor because my mom and my sisters ( and DH and BIL) all watched. Something with some substance to talk about-- really hours of conversation. Finding the Buffistas -- I found a daily social release that wasn't scary. I've met bunch of the buffistas face to face. I hope I never have to leave where I live, ( um I really love my house and the district I lve in . No really I talk about my house, my DH , my cat, and my town), knowing I can take my Buffy people with me anywhere is very cool.

Guess how I feel about the serial comma.

ps I can not spell or type
