::waves to SA:: Always lovely to see you.
I have to agree with Tom. If I can find time to post from France, that makes both me and France look bad in comparison. Or something.
And hello to all the rest of the delurkers! Stick around a while if you can.
I'd summarize this past year, but it would bum me out. I think I'll wait until Good Riddance or what have you. Hey, look! France!
::looks at France with longing::
I've been seeing such pretty pictures of France on tumblr and having the jealousy that amyth is getting to see so much of it in person. But, vera, vera happy that amyth had the opportunity and took it.
One of my program coordinators has houses in Spain. He's offered me the use. I'm thinking I may have to start planning.
I'm a lurker!

I'm Aims, AKA Aimee and about 11 other handles (Hec would know the exact number). Married to Miracleman (who would also be considered a lurker these days). Emeline is our progeny, whackadoo girlie that she is. She turns SEVEN in November. This is unpossible.
We still have Ollie, The Stupidest Dog in the World as well as Monstro, the largest bookcase EVER.
Still in Michigan, still in school, still working as a parapro in a Montessori classroom. Still a nut job. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
I wish I had more time to spend around here, but wow it makes a difference when you don't spend your days at a desk, in front of a computer.
I miss you guys.

Eleven: Everyday Name, Fancy name, Guest Name, Fancy Guest Name....
Here are some current pictures to show the unpossibility: [link]
Missing teeth! It's a classic 7 yo look!
amyth, what's your tumblr url?
Not delurking, because, on here ALL THE TIME, but...
Lessee, I taught until June and in July, I went full-time freelance. It's going well, although money's tight.
Everything else is basically the same, except I am cleaning out the garage, fighting a Hellmouth-esque invasion of fleas, and I celebrated my one year wedding anniversary in April.
I gardened some, and killed only 3/4 of my plants. Success for me!
Since I'm freelancing, I dyed my hair a lot redder, and am very happy to do so. I turned 39 in August, and am perfectly fine with that.
I mastered a mean chocolate stout bundt cake this year.
Oh, I started a Tumblr. It's Wordslinger Tangents (Erin Griggs: Wordslinger is my business.) It's tangenty.
I lost ten pounds, we avoided foreclosure on the house by the skin of our teeth and Kansas City got a Trader Joe's. I am mastering the art of stepmommery, and continue to think the hysterectomy I got 2 years ago is the Best Thing Ever. I still have chronic insomnia, but being a freelance takes a lot of the anxiety I had about it away.
So, my year. That's pretty much it.
