Or maybe you could just be Buffy, he'll see your amazing heart, and he'll fall in love with you.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hey! We Sara(h)s will not be discounted!

Damn right!

Welcome, all delurkers and those people who don’t post very often! It’s good to see your text.

My board name is sj, which is my first two initials and also something my family used to call me as a kid, so I will answer to it in person. I live in Massachusetts with my fiancée who I refer to here as TCG (which stands for teacup guy which he was named by Buffistas because he gave me a teacup on our second date). Besides teacups, I am also obsessed with tea and books.

I started lurking here sometime during Buffy S6 and delurked shortly after that, I think. I don’t remember exactly when I started posting, but it feels like I have been here forever and yet I still feel like a newbie sometimes. I post mostly in Bitches, but I read most of the other threads and will post there too. I can never keep up with Natter, otherwise I might post there more often.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Hi. I'm Victor Infante, but my board name is Victor Infante. The inflection is totally different. I'm not so much a lurker as I am perpetually distracted by real life. Tend to pop my head in the TV threads.

I was one of the people who first emigrated from Salon, and was even a Stompy at one point, which was a terrible, terrible mistake, ending in tragedy when fellow former Stompy JenGod and I were forced to jettison an entire portion of the Web site into space to save the rest. Oh, the threads that were lost ... the "Cryptozoology of 'Buffy'" thread, the "OH MY GOD WILLOW'S WEARING THAT!?!?" thread, the "Guess What's in NoiseDesign's Fridge?" thread ... Good times. Good times. Shame most have suffered a collective amnesia to assuage the pain. But who can blame them?

I live in New England, with my wife Lea, who rarely ever posts here as Thessaly. I write stuff. Sometimes people publish it. Or throw donuts at me. Whatever works.

Did any other classic Doctor Who fan's mind go to "Logopolis" with this?

“Not dead yet!”

Hi. I'm Victor Infante, but my board name is Victor Infante.

No, your board name is victor infante. Which makes the difference in inflection much clearer, I think.

Always Anti-fascist!

(tosses Victor donut. Even though I sort of believe he's the hot guy with the picture frame since we've never met f2f.)

Thrive to spite them

Ohhh lots of lurkers de lurking cool!!

And y'all should totally post more, seriously it's fun!

I'm askye! I'm another who has been apart of the Buffistas since the Table Talk days. I used to be way more active, but I can't access the internet at work and so I don't post as much. Also I'm really far behind on a bunch of shows, like Supernatural. I live in the Big Bend area of Florida. I can be found in Bitches, Boxed Set, Comedy, Drama, fanfic and Great Write Way. I lurk way more than I post esp in the show threads because I'm so far behind on many shows. Like Supernatural.

By day I'm a mild mannered adminstrative assistant by night I'm... a mild mannered resident of Second Life. And soon I'll be learning to kick ass in real life (I'm starting kick boxing).

If anyone is in Second Life and want to look me up I'm Beatrix Noel.

I also enticed my sweetheart to join the board, he mostly lurks and is SLNRLBF. Which stands for Second Life Now Real Life Boyfriend. He's shy about posting but I tell him he should post more.

He'd never seen Buffy, Angel, or Firefly. So far I've introduced him to Buffy and Firefly. We're almost to the end of Season1 of Buffy so it's goign to be a long time before we get to Angel.

I was thinking Battalion in the "StormWatch" comic, but "Logopolis" is probably less obscure.

...

Oh, yeah. Nerd city.

Hey! We Sara(h)s will not be discounted!

Including this one.

And in other Nerd City news, I now think of Victor Infante as Zathras and wonder if he too is trained in crisis management.

Zenkitty - Oct 01, 2009 2:02:49 pm PDT #154 of 3094
Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hello, delurkers and semi-lurkers and re-delurkers! I remember seeing a few of you before, Rayne and Ouise, and you too, Ice.

I'm Zenkitty. I don't remember how I found b.org, or when I started lurking, or when I delurked as Ashtareth, or when I changed my board name to the name the rest of the Internet calls me. I've been here since 2004, at least. If you yell "Zen!" in a crowded theater, I'll turn around. (Other than that, Nothing will happen.) My real name is Elizabeth, and I know there's at least one other Elizabeth around here. I've been to two F2Fs, Atlanta and Seattle, and hope never to miss another.

I'm 46, single, and live alone with two beautiful cats in Charlottesville, Virginia, in a house overflowing with books, DVDs, antiques, clothes, shoes, and, of course, cat hair. I have a degree in anthropology, and I've been writing the same novel for twenty years.

I've lived in Tennessee, Virginia, and New Jersey (Exit 9, represent!), and briefly in Germany. I work at home, for an engineering institute in New Jersey that gives me money to edit their professional journals. They think I'm a responsible adult; it's so weird.

I try to keep up in Natter and Bitches, I'm usually hanging around in Boxed Set and Procedurals and Cable, and I post in flurries. If the computer's on, I have a B.org tab open.

I like serial commas and crime stories. I don't like muffalettas or cilantro. I'm still holding onto hope for The Inside to come out on DVD. Everything is better with Buffistas!
