And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

Aww! Welcome back, Darth!! Miss ya, though I see you on Facebook. :)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Congratulations, Darth! I'd heard about your move to Durham, but not about the marriage. May you and your husband have many happy years together.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Welcome ZAR! I am most envious of your peregrinations!

And Yay Darth! Congratulations, love!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I'm so happy to have seen CV, Betsy and Darth! Congratulations CV and Darth on your new life events. I keep up with Betsy on LJ, but I want to say here that I do hope the migraine stuff all works out.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Congratulations, Darth, on all of it - the marriage, the excellent day job, the acting, and Where The Wild Things Are!

Hi lurkers & regulars. I'm Larry.

I first delurked on TT in fall 2000 (Buffy S5, Angel S2). I had just had cataract surgery on my right eye, which changed it from very nearsighted to slightly farsighted. My brain hadn't yet figured out how to deal with the discrepancy between the 2 eyes, hence the pseud.

I've posted sporadically over the years. Met a bunch of folks when we went to the DC F2F, and more when the F2F came to my home town in 2007.

I drifted away from the board sometime after that, and took to mostly lurking on political & music sites. Ginger keeps me updated on the goings-on.

The inventory:

Serial commas: Inconsistent. No for lists consisting of one or two words. Yes for lists of long phrases.

Post-period double spacing: No. Wife does it; I don't like.

Ellipses, parentheses, and em-dashes: I try not to overuse.

Cilantro: Yes! So glad I'm not among those for whom it tastes soapy.

Olives: In moderation.

Muffulettas: No. Not so much because of the olives, but the cold cuts. I'm generally anti-sliced-cylindrical-red-fatty-meat. I'll have a turkey one with P-C.

Orange cats: 1. Had 2 a couple of years ago (Miss you, Lucky)

Non-orange cats: 1

Dogs named after Buffy/Angel characters: 1

Dogs named after obscure Star Trek characters: 1

Mathematician by education. I write code for geographic software to bring home the meat that is not cylindrical & red.

eta: lets see if this looks better

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hi, bicyclops! Nice to see you around.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Congratulations, Darth!!!

Our wings are not tired.

bicyclops! Good to see you. I think I have seen you in person more than I have in posts. More of each would be nice.
