Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Perkins, did I ever tell you that you share a birthday with my BiL? It sounds like you had the better day.

I don't think so! I hope he had an okay day, even if it wasn't as good as mine.

I shall have to watch it then!

I was really close to giving up Bones last season, but the Cyndi Lauper may have brought me back.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I checked out the Bones season premiere, and I don't love the show, never have. It's okay for time killage. Mostly I'm irritated that they bothered stabbing her in the arm and having Booth cradling her and then totally lost it later on-- no bandages, nothing. Terribly sloppy.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I tried Bones once and was all, "BUH?" I'm really low on TV watching opportunities. Right now, I'm down to Glee (sorry Jessica, I like it, even just for Jane Lynch) and Project Runway.

I think I watched all of last season's FNL, but I can't remember. Is that sad?

Had an asstastic busy day. K's car needed to go into the shop and she had a dentist appointment AND she had back to school night tonigh, so in addition to my usual work day I had to drive her place to place. Plus I had to take clean laundry to Grace and pick up Noah.

I have found a preschool program (full day, 5 days a week) that I really love (as opposed to the one I really like). It's $1400/month. I know that's in the ballpark of lots of programs, but I can't get over feeling like that is essentially a year of college tuition (at 12 months, which this program is, it would be close to $18K a year!)

The program I like is $700 a month for full day/5 days a week. It looks like we'll go with what we like and not what we love.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, ita, for Silver Foxes, how about Tim Gunn?

That's as obvious as Anderson Cooper. I can't believe I didn't have him.

Yay, I got one! Everyone else I thought of suggesting was already on the site.

And he's a glasses wearer, so it's an easy two-fer.

Most everyone ends up with pics that can go in another category too, but it's always nice when there are either kilted pics or pics with prescription glasses, since I get so few of those.

Tim Gunn in a skirt would be great, but I can't quite see it. Ever.

I don't know ita. I would have said that about flip flops before this season of Project Runway.

He wore flip flops? But we didn't need that. Not like we need skirts. Flip flops are at best a convenience. They're not hot. And I say that as a child of the tropics.

And they're not interesting. Which is why is another reason I wish people wouldn't send me flip flop pictures. The real reason is that people in flip flops aren't actually barefoot.
