Tino is screwing up my birthday plans...after dithering for weeks about what to do, I decided on brunch. And then after another week, I decided on a place. I called to make a reservation for 8 today and the resto no longer does brunch!
It does not help that my two favourite restaurants are A) tiny, B) popular brunch places and C) do not take reservations.
I may end up making brunch myself...even though I didn't want to cook or clean for anyone on my birthday.
Stupid Tino.
I think unless you have a professional-level juicer, making tomato juice from your garden will wind up pretty watery.
Seska, isn't a UK 14 a different size than a US 14?
I was translating. I'm a British size 18, American size 14. Having lived in the US as well as the UK, I'm quite good at the translating. When I was a (UK) size 12, I was not at all worried about my weight!
I'd go further east for the best Southern BBQ, whereas Texas leaps immediately to mind for great steaks in addition to chili.
Agreed. Texas likes its sauces too much. Better to stick with the chilli.
Man, now I want some BBQ.
Man, now I want some BBQ.
I know what Nora's thinking.
Happy Birthdays, Perkins and Board!
Aw, man. Nilly's wedding pictures are making me cry! She's just glowing, smiling smiling smiling, and H. looks like the proudest happiest man on earth. I love the photo at the chuppah where he's grinning all over his face and she's looking up at him through her veil like he's the best thing she's ever seen. Wow.
This made me smile--from a regulation amendment to VA state code:
The amendment changes the birth certification form to permit the parents' designations to be "Name of Parent" for a child adopted by a same-sex couple rather than "Mother" and "Father."
It's the little things that matter.
