Hmm. The scallops were good, and randomly came with a couple pieces of lobster (which...I didn't realize were lobster until she came to take away my plate and was like "...you don't want your lobster?"). But I feel like if a dish says it comes with asparagus, there should at least be as much asparagus as there are pieces of scallops, y'know? There were three stalks of asparagus! That is not a serving of asparagus! That isn't a side of asparagus! That's, like, a GARNISH!

(Edit: but now I am back in the hotel, with TV and wifi and tomorrow I know of a book I want to buy that is coming out, so I will go to B&N and have things to read, and life will be good)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Odd that they indicate asparagus but not lobster on the menu.

That's what I thought, Burrell. I mean...lobster is fancy, don't you usually indicate the fancy schmancy things?

It's also quite a bit more expensive than asparagus. I'm thinking the chef ran low on asparagus and threw in some lobster as a bonus.

But you were not appeased.

Blargh. 11:42, and it's 81 degrees outside. I bet it's 90+ in my room here. And this is Seattle - what's this "AC" of which you smart sun-state people speak?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And this is Seattle - what's this "AC" of which you smart sun-state people speak?

We don't have such things in the PNW. It's against our religion? No, it's against what our climate is SUPPOSED TO BE.

It's brutally hot here too. 102 today. 85 right now. Warmer inside, of course.

Where's my barely 70 and partly cloudy? I want that.

I was involved in the last two deliveries . We got home 15 minuets ago. That is late for a school night. And a lot of wine for a school night

and I am glad I reread before I posted
