Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And this is Seattle - what's this "AC" of which you smart sun-state people speak?

We don't have such things in the PNW. It's against our religion? No, it's against what our climate is SUPPOSED TO BE.

It's brutally hot here too. 102 today. 85 right now. Warmer inside, of course.

Where's my barely 70 and partly cloudy? I want that.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

DH visited our friend T. T is also a friend of 'suela. He picked up 12 cases of wine. A few to 'Suela -- then to our friend Boston(her nickname) and the to our friends W and J. I was involved in the last two deliveries . We got home 15 minuets ago. That is late for a school night. And a lot of wine for a school night

and I am glad I reread before I posted

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It cooled off a lot last night, but I still needed the AC to get to sleep, which means sinus headache in the morning. Definitely a Hobson's Choice situation. Misery now, or misery later.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I slept in my own bed, which is all I could ask for, really.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm pretty sure Tino is going to be involved in my day as well, and he brought paperwork with him.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I think Tino put 15th century armor in my bed, a la Once Upon a Mattress. I woke up feeling like I'd attempted a triathlon yesterday, except less accomplished. I'm so glad I'm getting a new mattress tomorrow.
