Art Crawl!!!

Yes - that was totally NOT an apology. Why bother?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I have NO FUCKING CLUE why I look so cranky.

Heh. You really do look cranky!

Ya freak.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I know my mouth turns down naturally, so if I'm not actively smiling, I often look unhappy. Meh.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I know ita. That look was priceless! Poor guy. He didn't even try to return that last shot.

My husband deserves a toaster for getting me into tennis like this.

Supposedly when Beetlemania was in first swing, someone asked Ringo if he was always unhappy. He said, "No, it's just me face."

Poor Ringo. Except for the not being poor part. Wait, is he dead now?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And I can get that -- being upset in the heat of the moment and then burning out quickly.

I still hope she's convincingly regretful about it. I also hope the lineswoman realises she made a bogus call, so I live in the land of wishful thinking.

Not sure why Wozniacki's energy doesn't rub me the wrong way like Oudin. Probably because she gets less press, so I don't have to listen to her say nothing as much.

Vaguely relatedly, you know who's not playing? Justine Henin. They can stop mentioning her any time now. Sheesh.

She said, "You don't like me, do you?"

The key here is to say "Actually, it's the opposite, but these feelings are forbidden so I must hide them."

It gets easier with practice.

They played Star Wars music at the end of that men's match. Perhaps the Imperial March --I'm not sure. He wasn't even dressed like Darth Federer tonight. Lots of credence to give a nickname.

eta: Googled, checked, yeah, that's the one. Dude.

I'll have to try that next time. Or at least think it, which might make my scowl go away.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

So far I haven't asked Peter why he makes the odd loud noises and vocalizations at night.

It sounds a lot like a form of Tourette's.
