I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

I am up, have been to the grocery store for more tissue and some cold meds. I think I got about 2 hours sleep.

On the other hand, 24 hours without a headache.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am also awake.

Kind of.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry, aurelia.

Nova is in my lap, again, being cute.

Thanks to the Bay Area's freaky micro-climate thing, there was just a thunder and lightening storm about 5 or 10 miles away even though it's only somewhat cloudy here.

Turns out, Ditaboo is really not a thunder fan.

Either I've forgotten what thunder sounds like, or that was a ridiculously loud thunderclap.

I hadn't even realized it was raining.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

WOW.

Gigantic thunderclap (no rain, just thunder) -- lasted several seconds and shook the building, and sent Emmett running in asking if there'd been an earthquake. We may get hail, too. Definitely a day for hiding indoors as much as possible.

I actually thought it might be an explosion, thankfully the rain immediately confirmed it wasn't.

I was about to get dressed for a walk at Lands End. I guess not.

Yeah, the only reason I was sure was I saw the lightening first. That sucker was LOUD.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Okay, I've started running out of Buffistas whose full names I know on Facebook. If you would like to friend me, e-mail your name to my profile address. It is also okay not to friend me -- I will not be interesting on FB.

I have to go to two social events today. Blargh.

OK, did a few errands, still have a few more to go and a walk and a swim to do. I'll hit up Hampdenfest tomorrow when the weather looks more stable. Tomorrow night, cookout at friends'. But first, I have to wrangle 35 lbs of cat to the vet for their shots.

I should do a load of laundry or something. Don't wanna.
