Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It mattered in Florida with the air conditioning bill.

Isn't it hotter in August, so it would make sense to start later, not earlier?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I miss the start of school. So exciting! I mean, I get it by proxy, but still.

Does anyone drink kombucha? If so, do you notice any health/energy effects?

All I can say is that Tina Fey told a story about drinking it -- she was so creative and full of energy, and then would crash. That's when she realized it's fermented and she was just getting really drunk in the middle of the day.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Would it suck to have the name Dick Hardstaff?

Well, there is the actor Sean Biggerstaff who played Wood in the HP movies.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Do you have an Intel Mac, David? You have to have an Intel Mac to run Snow Leopard.

I've got 2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo. That'll work, right?

I'm doing this Bento stuff because I'm working as a consultant for my friend who's starting her own law office.

At first I thought it was sort of like an easier, limited Filemaker. But now it's feeling more like a fancy Address Book.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My nephew started kindergarten yesterday, and it was his first time on the big yellow bus all by himself.

This morning, he woke up at 6am, woke my SIL up and said, "Mummy! I have to get dressed and wait for the bus!"

The bus doesn't come until 8:40, but he insisted on going outside to wait for it 15 minutes early.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

From Wine Library TV: What Wine Pairs With Cereal? – Episode #734

Gary Vaynerchuk has long talked about pairing wine with cereal and today he goes “there” and pairs three wines with the classic cereals Lucky Charms, Captain Crunch and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Liv was excited about preschool this morning.

Allyson, putting the wee ones on a bus kills me--they're so tiny and cute and excited to be riding.

Mine always want to go outside a half an hour early. Which I don't mind in this weather but once winter gets here, I try to stay inside as long as possible.

Our wings are not tired.

Isn't it hotter in August, so it would make sense to start later, not earlier?

Exactly. It makes no sense at all. In my experience it is always hotter in August than June. What is silliest is that I keep thinking the school board will be sense making.

The boys took the bus when they were in elementary school, but HS starts too early. We leave at 7am. They would have to get out of here by 6:30 to get to the bus stop in time. They take the bus home. I pity the drivers. The kids are obnoxious on the bus.

Our wings are not tired.

Also, I am loving all the off to school pictures. I'll have to see if I can get a picture of the big boys off to school tomorrow.
