This morning Peter decided to pour out a gallon of orange juice into the bottom of the fridge. I was grinding coffee and heard "glug glug glug" and looked over just as the last cup was coming out.
Neither of my kids have ever been that kind of kid before, for which I am very thankful. I hope this does not augur a new phase for Peter.
(PS David - we are reading the Totoro book every day.)
Oy, flea. The brightest of my nephews (and they're a bright lot of kids) was the Do That Toddler and Do That Kid. Not a speck of malice in him, and he knew right from wrong if the rules were pointed out to him, but he was really talented at finding situations where the rules weren't clear or could logically lead him to believe that whatever was permissible.
Now he's a sophomore RA at his college which is either terrifying or a testament to his upbringing.
Jezebel's Pot Psychology videos just earwormed me with Lita Ford.
flea, it doesn't mean he'll start doing stuff like that all the time. There's always a little bit of a learning curve when they're trying new things.

Wow, do I miss Harper's Island. Saturday night TV in the summer is a wasteland.
I watched the whole thing last week a couple eps or more a day. Great summer entertainment.
Noah and Grace hug it out

Bobby discovered that he could make pizza dough from scratch and made us a spinach/garlic pizza this week. Cooking kids = good.
eta: well, not so much cooking kids, but kids that enjoy cooking stuff for us to eat
