The funny part, of course, is how rarely I eat fish. The problem is the fish taco place is in Long Beach. The only thing we go to LB for is the aquarium. So it's always fish tacos + aquarium.
Though, there is an amazing fish taco place on Hillhurst that I do think is better than the one in LB.
Also, I'm looking for a cabby wallet somewhere where I can purchase it in person today. Any thoughts?
What's a cabby wallet? ETA: scrath that, I googled.
We went to the Long Beach Aquarium (shark touch tank! lots of things to see! Puffins which Noah calls muffins!) and then had fish tacos. Does that seem wrong to any of you?
Hahaha. I wish I'd had fish tacos. Nathan's cheese fries always seem like a good idea until I actually eat them.
FWIW, I never heard of those (cabby wallets), either. Kids these days....
(ETA because I have heard of Nathan's.)
Ever since boyfriend gave me his grill, fish tacos has become a staple. SO freakin' easy. And especially good with home made mango salsa.
I had raw tacos for dinner. Sorta similar, I guess? (I had hot dogs for lunch, and wanted something not processed for dinner.)
I just frosted my own birthday cake as the children waited with tongues out to lick the bowl. I told Eve it was like she was a frosting vulture and then she kept saying, "Caw, caw."
Happy birthday, flea and Tom!

On Friday at the state fair, Sara was finishing her hamburger while petting a cow in the dairy barn.

Heh. Matilda distinguishes between the Bad Vultures in Snow White vs. the Good (Beatle inspired) Vultures in The Jungle Book.
