Kathmandu won't let me go
Well, and why would it want to?

Kathmandu won't let me go
Well, and why would it want to?
Your mom is...well, bringing her own sheets??
This is the lady that once stayed at my apartment while I was away, and brought her vaccuum with her so she could properly clean my apartment. (ETA: I had a vaccuum, she didn't think it was as good as hers.) She also, on the same trip, finished stripping the wallpaper border in the bathroom.
She's 80 now, so she doesn't clean as much, but she still doesn't want to make any work for me.
Hee! That's sweet.
Hey, let me know when you'll be in town and anything you need. Oooh, I get to show my house off to you! (I'm abominably obsessed with showing my house. It's a sickness.)
Sue, if her vacuum is better than mine, she can visit with her own sheet anytime. I think I really need a new vacuum. Just don't want to spend the $$.
In our school district it will not be shown on Tuesday. Instead it will be recorded, then it will be reviewed for appropriateness by district officials. If it passes muster, then teachers can elect to show their class the recording. If the teacher does elect so, then permission slips will be needed to see it.
As I've said before, I don't live in the most progressive of places.
Happy belated Birthday, Liese!

Thanks, and I will definitely be asking you for input once the move date is closer. Also, I can't wait to see your house! I think I may be in town on the 12th for lisah's neighborhood festival. Depends on work schedule, but that's MY plan. Let's hope work agrees.
Have I mentioned I'm excited to move? Yeah.
Here I am in Rogers Park, eating a sandwich called Rogers Pork.
Oh yeah, hampdenfest is next weekend. We'll definitely have to connect if you're here for that!
We're happy to have you here.
I think I need Sue's mom to come stay with me while I am working on this new show. I had my apartment all clean, but it is going to go to hell in a handbasket.
I am making 13 pieces of period (elizabethan/18th c) clothing. My stitcher is making 8. My student is making 2. and that doesn't count little things like ruffs and aprons and alterations.
I think I want to kill myself (I have 2 weeks until first fittings, then 1 1/2 weeks until dress). The most costume pieces we have ever made previously is 11 split between two people, but some of those 11 were pretty simple, and the woman I worked with then could pattern, but my new stitcher cannot.
