Heh. Yeah, mine would drink from the sprinkler until he threw up, kill some of the bugs and birds attracted to the water, and then drink some more.

I am currently baking these, with blueberries instead of blackberries. Never made them before, but the kitchen is starting to smell good, so I think I did it right.

I just peeked in the oven, and some of the cobbler-cupcakes have risen up in rebellion and overflowed the top of their proscribed cup. But since I'll be flipping them upside down when they're done, it pretty much doesn't matter.

Since the result you describe means there is now more cobbler than you expected, I fail to see the downside.
